For more than 25 years, the Moreland Education Foundation has been raising funds to support the Moreland School District. Currently, the funds we raise pay for 25% of the music program and 80% of the after school sports program. We also give $4,500 to each school for science assemblies and art. Each school has $3,000 available for Innovation Grants from MEF. We only have three fundraising events each year to reach our goal of $150,000; the Pumpkin Patch, the March Fund Drive, and the Summer Enrichment Program.
The Summer Enrichment Program is the greatest opportunity we have to reach our goal. It's the best of both worlds for MEF. We hire Moreland teachers and raise money for Moreland teachers all at the same time. We are looking forward to working with you this summer and continuing this amazing program.
