The Moreland Educational Foundation (MEF) was founded in August of 1993 to assist the Moreland School District when shortfalls in state funding threatened to reduce programming district wide. For over 25 years MEF has focused on maintaining the instrumental music program and after-school sports program

Our Goals & Purpose

  • To provide general financial support for Moreland District Schools, whenever in the judgment of the Directors of this Foundation, funding from public sources is inadequate to provide and maintain consistently high quality educational opportunities, facilities and resources for children of our District.

  • To assist in the funding for development of new educational programs, which promise significant contributions to the education of Moreland School District students.

  • To provide funding for programs normally provided by Moreland District Schools for which public funding is, for any reason, inadequate or unavailable.

  • To purchase or contribute special equipment to Moreland District Schools, or to replace existing equipment for which funding is not available.
